Congratulations to Ian Raspin TEP on being one of the global recipients of the 2025 STEP Founder’s Award. The award was presented to him at the STEP Victoria-Tasmania Conference on 27 February 2026 in Hobart.
The Founder’s Awards are presented to members who have made an exceptional and outstanding long-term contribution to STEP above and beyond that normally expected of a member through office in their branch or elsewhere in the voluntary life of the Society.
This prestigious honour, named in recognition of STEP founder George Tasker, celebrates individuals whose dedication has significantly advanced the trusts, estates and wealth management profession worldwide.
Ian received the Founder’s Award for his outstanding leadership in elevating STEP’s profile in Australia and fostering multi-disciplinary collaboration across professional bodies. He spearheaded key initiatives including the Australian Excellence Awards and the Partnerships Committee, authored influential policy submissions, and strengthened sponsorship and education pathways for members.
His tireless advocacy, thought leadership and personal commitment to STEP’s growth have made a lasting impact on the organisation both nationally and globally.
